Ferrari is one of the most popular names of supercars besides Lamborghini. For years they have been creating cars that any one of us would die to be in even if we could never afford them. One of the more popular models is the Modena – which provided consumers with superior steering, handling, and a ride that could not easily be found elsewhere.

In 1999 Ferrari released the 360 Modena coupe and the Spider convertible was alongside of it. Underneath the hood they were given a V8, 3.6 liter engine that could push out 400 horsepower and 8,500 rpm. This gave it the ability to jump from 0 to 60 mph in only 4 seconds.

Connected to this powerful engine was a standard transmission and a six speed manual. Most people would order it with the expensive F1 gated shifter manual gearbox that was equipped with the chrome ball knob. It used the column mounted shift paddles to change gears in only 150 milliseconds. This makes it easier on the car when we are trying to get through heavy traffic.

On the exterior it was designed with an aluminum space frame chassis and an adjustable aluminum wishbone suspension. The look was designed especially by Pininfarina and the aluminum material was used to make it lightweight and easier to handle on the roads. Most sports cars use this material for the same reason.
