parenting tips

I’m going to be a single parent in just a few short months (the father and his family have no interest in involvement). My family is very supportive and helpful thank goodness. Obviously though this baby is mine to raise, care for and be responsible for. I am also still pursuing my degree and will have a full time job after the birth. I would love any tips I can get from other single parents. Thank you in advance.
I’ll be getting a job in day care/education (I’m CDA certified to teach in private day care and a highly Qualified Paraprofessional) so I’m not too concerned about childcare costs actually since part of my benefits is reduced cost childcare.
Also I did strongly consider adoption but decided that because I am confidant I can raise this little man well, without the help of his father, that that option simply was not for me.
